Dr. Amy Hinc
Dr. Hinc graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. After graduation, she completed an one year small animal internship at New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine (now Central Veterinary Hospital). After practicing at various private small animal practices in Connecticut, she discovered her passion for all things feline. In 2004 she pursued her goal of becoming a feline specialist. In 2013 that goal was realized when she was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in the category of Feline Practice. She is an active member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She recently served on their panel for developing the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Feline Hyperthyroidism. She also serves as a consultant for the Veterinary Information Network in the Feline Internal Medicine section. Dr. Hinc shares her life with her husband Lee, twin children, 7 cats, 6 chickens, and a part-time dog.
